If you use this site

• Your email address, so we can send you a sign-in link and recognise you when you return. From the part after the @ we also work out which firm you are probably from. The site is open by invitation for now, so Sendr Ltd holds the address of each person it has invited, from before they first sign in, to tell who may come in. It may also give you your sign-in link directly instead of emailing it.
• Whether you ticked the marketing box. We only email you about Sendr Ltd's services if you did. You can untick it at any time on your account page, or by contacting archie.scarborough@lumonpay.com. If you did not tick it, we will not use your activity on the site to market to you.
• A record of how you use the site: when you sign in, the searches and filters you run, the companies you open, the companies in any list you download, and when you follow a link from a company's page to an outside site. For those links we record the company and the kind of link (its website, Companies House, LinkedIn or Google), not the address and not which person you looked up. Each record is deleted automatically 24 months after it was made. We use the record to see what people find useful, to improve the tool, to prevent abuse, and to understand which kinds of company our users are interested in. The site also uses it to show you which companies you have opened before.
• Companies you mark as shortlisted, contacted or not relevant, so the site can show you your marks and leave out the companies you do not want. Other users never see them. They are kept until you clear them or your account is deleted. We count how many people gave a company each mark, to see where the scoring is wrong. If you download one of your own lists, we record how many companies were in it, not which.
• Searches you save, and the last search you ran, so the site can take you back to them. A saved search and the name you gave it are kept until you remove it or your account is deleted. The last search is replaced each time you search. We also note when you last opened each saved search, so the site can tell you how many companies have joined the list since.
• Alert emails, if you switch them on. For any saved search you can ask to be emailed when companies that match it join the list. The email names the search, how many companies are new and a few of them. It has no marketing in it. We keep the date of the last one, so the next mentions only what is newer. You can stop them with the link in any alert email, on your account page, or beside the saved search itself.
• Anything you report as wrong on a company's page: the company, the line you said was wrong and what you wrote. We use it to correct the data, and delete it after 24 months.
• Feedback you send with the Feedback button: what you wrote and the page you were on. It is shown to the people who run this site and emailed to them with your address, so they can reply. We use it to improve the tool, and delete it from the site after 24 months.
• A session cookie that keeps you signed in. With each sign-in we keep your IP address and the type of browser you used. You are signed out, and those are deleted, about 30 days after you last used the site. To limit repeated sign-in requests we also keep, for up to two days, the IP address a request came from and the email address it was for. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.

Sign-in and alert emails, and the copy of your feedback that goes to us, are delivered by Resend, and the site is hosted on Vercel with a Postgres database at Neon. You can delete your account and everything linked to it on your account page, or email archie.scarborough@lumonpay.com and we will do it for you. Deleting it does not reach the record Resend keeps of the emails it delivered, or the copies of your feedback already emailed to us; ask at archie.scarborough@lumonpay.com if you want those deleted too.

If you are a company director listed here

The site shows the names, roles and appointment dates of current company officers. This comes from the public register at Companies House, which anyone can search for free. We do not hold or show dates of birth, home or correspondence addresses, or nationality, and director pages are not indexed by search engines.

We show this information so that people selling business services can identify who runs a company. If you would like your name removed from this site, email archie.scarborough@lumonpay.com with the company number and we will remove it. So that it stays removed when we next refresh from Companies House, we keep a scrambled fingerprint of the name and company number, not the name itself. Removal here does not change the Companies House register.

Company data

Information about companies (as opposed to people) comes from Companies House and HM Revenue & Customs under the Open Government Licence v3.0. A company's web address, where one is shown, was found on that company's own website. A score on this site is our estimate of likely foreign-currency activity. It is not a statement of fact about any company, and the matching of HMRC records to companies can be wrong. If a record about your company is wrong, tell us at archie.scarborough@lumonpay.com. If you are signed in, each company's page also has a link for reporting it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
